	Rib loop indoor outdoor carpet has rows or ribs running the length of the carpet. The loops make the carpet more resistant to matting and provides excellent wear. Alfresco is a single rib carpet whereas Beacon has a double rib down the length of the carpet. This style is used in basements, steps, porches, patios by poolside's and in almost any area.

	Cut pile indoor outdoor carpet has no loops at all in the carpet and generally is used in boats, cars, by pool sides and patios. This carpet style is is mostly made in solid colors and is more formal in appearance.

Cut Pile Grass Turf

     Cut pile grass was the original outdoor carpet
     style used in the1960's era and is still popular
     today. It also is made in multi colors to hide
     soil and stains. This style is generally used for
     putting greens, patios, pool sides and almost
     any area. There are currently some cut pile
     grass carpets that are designed to look like
     real grass (see below). This style is of carpet
     is also made with a foam rubber backing for
     sports use such as soccer, baseball, football
